Branch Picture Decor

Hello friends! I thought I might share with you something I created today.
Bringing nature indoors is one of my favorite things to do.  Lately I’ve been really into burlap and lace combinations.  I wanted to find a way to bring the two together in a lovely natural way. To my surprise my husband brought this beautiful branch home for me and cleaned it up a bit. Then the fun began!
Supplies: Branch (shape, size and width of your choice), Yarn (any color you like! I chose beige), Adhesive hooks, Lace, buttons, Pictures, and Burlap (you can also use any fabric you prefer)
First, I attached the  adhesive hooks to the ceiling. I’d love to give you a fancy way to do this, but I honesty stood on a piano bench and measured as I went. I put up a total of three hooks. This could vary depending on the size of your branch.
Next, I took pictures and framed them in strips of burlap. This is where a hot glue gun comes in handy!
After that I turned the picture over and hot glued a strip of lace to the back. I folded it over once to ensure a sturdy bind.
Finally, to complete the loop I hot glued a button to the front and cut a hole for the button to fit through. Make sure that the hole is small enough so that the lace snuggly fits around it.

Finally, wrap the lace around the branch and fasten it onto the button. After all of the pictures were secured I moved them around until I had them placed where I desired. The end result was just what I was looking for!
Not only was this project a blast but it also has opened a window for many more fun things to come. Happy Crafting!
